Bounce Back Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will learn the utility of providing a trauma intervention in schools.
  2. Participants will learn about the effectiveness of Bounce Back in reducing symptoms and improving students’ behaviors and academic indicators.
  3. Participants will learn the steps for implementing each session of Bounce Back
  4. Participants will identify and discuss strategies for effectively implementing Bounce Back in their setting.

***Please Note: For registrants who have not participated in a CBITS training previously, in order to attend Bounce Back training you must successfully complete the following two sections of the Bounce Back online training module prior to your training day: 1) Why a Trauma Program in Schools; and, 2) Bounce Back History and Effectiveness. *** Also note: If you have experience with other Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) through CHDI's Coordinating Center and are joining a CBITS/BB team and registering for this training: Any registration submitted through this site will be reviewed to ensure that registrants have completed initial training requirements for other EBP models.***

Lunch will be provided.

This program has been approved for 6 Continuing Education Credit Hours by the National Association of Social Workers, CT and meets the continuing education criteria for CT Social Work Licensure renewal.
