CBITS Learning Objectives:
- Participants will learn the utility of providing a trauma intervention in schools.
- Participants will learn about the effectiveness of CBITS in reducing symptoms and improving students' behavior and academic indicators.
- Participants will learn the steps for implementing each session of CBITS.
- Participants will identify and discuss strategies for effectively implementing CBITS in their settings.
*** Please note: If you have experience with other Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) through CHDI's Coordinating Center and are joining a CBITS/BB team and registering for this training: Any registration submitted through this site will be reviewed to ensure that registrants have completed initial training requirements for other EBP models.***
Lunch will be provided on both days.
This program has been approved for 12 Continuing Education Credit Hours by the National Association of Social Workers, CT and meets the continuing education criteria for CT Social Work Licensure renewal.
