Training Description: This interactive session will explore various community recovery support groups and the values that may, or may not, align with each program. We will also explore unconscious biases and schemas people may have about each program.
This session is meant to be about exploration, and group participation makes it more interesting, and culturally specific. Please come prepared with any insights you may have about GA/GAM-Anon; SMART and CRAFT Recovery; Recovery Dharma; Celebrate Recovery; and others that may not be included. Some resources will be provided.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will explore how values may align with recovery pathways.
- Participants will expand their understanding of community recovery programs.
- Participants will learn to recognize how their own values may influence their recommendations.
