About T2U
True to You (T2U) is a statewide coalition of LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies committed to supporting Connecticut's LGBTQIA+ attain whole person health by living life tobacco- and vape-free.
T2U aims to promote tobacco- and vape-free living as “the norm” within our community. We develop and distribute information, resources, and materials to:
Educate our community about the physical, emotional, social, financial, and environmental harms associated with tobacco use and vaping;
Improve people’s perceptions of their ability to manage stress, anxiety, and depression – and enjoy life - without the aid of tobacco products;
Connect our community to tobacco and vaping cessation resources; and
Educate healthcare providers about tobacco treatment services, including CT QUITLINE and My Life, My Quit®.
T2U is supported by the Tobacco and Health Trust Fund through a contract with the Connecticut Department of Public Health and support from Connecticut Clearinghouse, a program of Wheeler Health.
