Signs, Decals, Stickers, and More
All of the materials below are free, and we ship them to retailers and community members at no cost. Send your name, mailing address, and the titles and quantities of the materials you wish to receive to info@ctclearinghouse.org.
Required Signs
Retailers must post State Notice of Law signs for the products they sell (tobacco or vapor products). Retailers who sell both tobacco and vapor products must post both signs. Signs must be placed at the point of sale.
Optional Signs
Our "What You Do Matters" double-sided postcard provides retailers with information and links to resources that support the responsible sale of tobacco and vapor products.
Decals and Stickers
Our "Have ID Ready" door decals and "21" cash register/counter stickers tell customers they must be 21 years old or older to buy tobacco and vapor products and let customer know that staff will ask for their IDs to make sure they are 21 or older.
Other Materials
Other materials that let customers know that staff will check their IDs include "We ID" buttons and "We ID EVERYONE" face masks. Our messenger pens feature six "messages" about Connecticut's tobacco and vapor laws and are a good reminder for staff.
